Native to China, but first produced commercially in New Zealand (and named after their native flightless bird), the kiwi fruit is exceptionally high in Vitamin C, and also contains potassium, copper, vitamin K, folate, and vitamin E. These fuzzy little fruits are a little larger than a chicken egg, and can be peeled before eating, or the fresh, tangy-sweet, citrusy tasting flesh can be scooped right into your mouth with a spoon.
