Monk fruit sweetener is a natural, zero-calorie sweetener made from the dried juice of the monk or 'Buddha fruit' native to Southeast Asia. It is high in unique antioxidants called mogrosides, which make it 100–250 times sweeter than regular sugar. To balance out the intensity of the sweetness, Volupta monk fruit sweetener also contains erythritol - a sugar alcohol used as a low-calorie sweetener.
